Our mission: To identify and address the intellectual challenges to this vision by means of community engagement activities, lectures, research, conferences, seminars, publications, and a variety of educational courses. At its core, the Institute seeks to support and advance Haitian studies, articulate Haitian ideals, promote action-oriented reflection, and advance practices that enrich, unite, and strengthen the community.
